AND I DO SURVIVE is cinema verite documentary about a Trinidadian lesbian named Michelle Lopez as she pursues the American Dream in a country that denies her citizenship because she is HIV+.  As she attempts to get her greencard, she juggles pressure from her girlfriend to get married and the trials and tribulations of raising two teenagers–one who is also HIV positive.
